SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The community is lending a helping hand to the family of a missing Armstrong Atlantic State University student.
Thursday was Bryce Tarter Awareness Night at the Chick-fil-A on Abercorn Street. The 19 year-old has been missing since January.
For everyone who mentioned Bryce Tarter's name, the store donated a portion of that sale to the family as they continue efforts to find their missing loved one.
"Bryce and the truck are missing. Normally if a person goes missing they find the vehicle within a couple of days. I am 100 percent sure Bryce did not walk away. He didn't have the means. He loved his family. He loved his mother, He loved his brother and sister," said Blake Tarter, Bryce's father.
Police are asking you to be on the lookout for Bryce Tarter's truck, a 2000 white Nissan Frontier with Maine license plate 9447QD. The vehicle has decals of the Atlanta Braves and Falcons on the back windows.
Anyone with information is asked to call AASU Police at 912-344-3333.
