ATLANTA (AP) - College students are planning to take on the Gold
Dome.
Hundreds of students are expected to rally Monday at the Georgia
state Capitol to protest cuts to higher education funding.
Lawmakers are looking at cutting up to $600 million from the
state's 35 colleges and universities next fiscal year, which would
mean thousands of layoffs, program cuts and enrollment caps.
