Garden City Council Election Results

Two candidates were vying for the seat being vacated by Tennyson Holder.

GARDEN CITY, Ga. -- Tuesday was election day in Garden City.

Jimmy Spillards and JJ Bellamare were vying for the City Council seat vacated by Tennyson Holder.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, Spillards received 218 votes compared to 39 for Bellamare.

The results will not be official until later in the week.
