SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Hunter Army Airfield's 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment is welcoming a new commander Thursday.

Lt. Col. Michael Foster is assuming command from Col. Brian Mennes during a ceremony at Forsyth Park.

Foster previously served with the 3rd Battalion at Fort Benning and also served as the assistant operations officer for the 75th Ranger Regiment.
