Suspect was caught by Savannah-Chatham detectives kicking the antique cars outside Police Headquarters
SAVANNAH, GA (March 20, 2010): An Arizona man is facing charges after allegedly committing a crime in one of the worst places possible, the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department.
Police say just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning, detectives heard what sounded like breaking glass. They looked outside and saw 27 year old Isaiah Jacobson kicking the antique police cars in front of Headquarters.
Officers went downstairs and arrested Jacobson, who they say appeared to be very drunk.
After looking at the vehicles it was determined the passenger side window on the county police car was damaged.
On the city vehicle, the driver’s window was damaged and both headlights were knocked out.
Isaiah Jacobson was charged with interference with government property and criminal trespassing.
