The UniverSoul Circus is known for bringing smiles to the faces of both the young and young at heart with its entertaining acts. But Wednesday, neighbors of Savannah's Carver Heights Community will remember the circus for its act of kindness.
Circus performers and staff will lead volunteers in a beautification project to revitalize Kennedy Park. In an effort to create a better environment for kids to ‘play more’, members of UniverSoul Circus’s latest production, “We Play Too Much” will team up with the Numinous Group, Home Depot, the AmeriGroup, the Chatham County Youth Commission, and Cumulus Radio to carry out the good deed.
Volunteers will work from nine until noon planting a memorial flower garden, several trees, as well as restoring basketball goals and backboards. Volunteers will also pick up trash, manicure bushes and install new benches throughout the park.
Volunteers will be treated to special sneak peek performance in the park and given a pair of tickets to see UniverSoul Circus in Savannah.
