The city council and mayor of Savannah are not very happy with LNG and the company's plans to truck liquified gas down DeRenne Avenue.
LNG held a community meeting last month, but failed to invite council or Mayor Otis Johnson.
Johnson called on the city attorney to look into the legal authority the city has in the matter of what gets trucked through it.
The council was also in consensus over sending a letter to LNG, stating their displeasure with how things are being handled.
The city is expected to oppose the proposal in today's council meeting.
