WSAV's Holiday Hope Program aims to help more children have a merrier Christmas this year than ever before.

2,000 families in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry will have some extra toys under the tree thanks to your generous donations.

On Tuesday morning, Lowcounty reporters Holly Bounds and Brittany Shane went on a shopping spree at the Walmart in Hardeeville, South Carolina. Money donated to Holiday Hope was used to purchase the toys.

WSAV will be out at the Tanger Outlets on Hilton Head Island Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Donate a new, unwrapped toy and say hello.

Area businesses have helped make Holiday Hope possible this year. A partnership with Bluffton Self Help and generous donations from Derst Baking Company,The Savannah Bank, and Grainger Honda.

You can drop off toys to any of those businesses as well at Walmart stores and WSAV studios on East Victory Drive in Savannah.
