Kenneth Sanders was arraigned Monday on murder charges.
Port Wentworth Police say he stabbed his wife to death in front of her three young children.
The 9, 7, and 4-year-olds witnessed the murder of Nancy Sanders, according to authorities.
Sanders is charged with felony murder, cruelty to children, and aggravated assault.
The children are staying with their maternal grandmother, Nancy Bruin, in Savannah. She told News 3 Sanders is evil and conniving.
