For many--they say this day was a long time coming.
Students earned degrees in studies like photography, fashion, textiles and even comic book design.
But while their passions and skills will take them on different paths, they all have something in common.
They are Bees.
This was the savannah college of art and design's thirty second annual commencement ceremony.
The class of 2011 got some helpful advice from special guest speaker---Whoopi Goldberg.
The Emmy, Tony and Oscar award winning actress- said that as an artist, the working world can be difficult. But, the most important thing is to stay true to your craft.
Goldberg---who never attended college herself-- received an honorary diploma to celebrate her many successes.
