(Savannah, GA.) The family of Troy Davis held a memorial service for him tonight.
The service comes nine days after Davis was executed for the 1989 murder of Savannah Police Officer Mark MacPhail.
Close Friends and death penalty opponents from around the country packed The New Life Apostolic Temple tonight on Bay Street to remember Davis' life.
Funeral services for Troy Davis are set for 11:00 a.m. tomorrow at Jonesville Baptist Church on Montgomery street. Davis' funeral is open to the public.
