A report of domestic violence has led to the arrest of a Coffee County man on sex offender charges.
On Tuesday Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic dispute report at an apartment on Brannen Drive in Statesboro.
Several people inside the residence told investigatgors that Gregory Wayne Lott was acting violently toward them.
Officers arrested Lott at the scene and later found he had given them a false name. Once his identity was established, investigators discovered that Lott was wanted out of Coffee County on a probation violation as a sex offfender.
Lott faces several charges including battery, disorderly conduct, and giving false information to a police officer.
