Reduce, reuse, recycle…that’s the mantra for many Tybee Island residents…
Saturday, the city held their second annual eco work shop to brush up on the latest foot print reducing trends.
From cooking with solar power, to harnessing the wind for energy--the event had many solutions that are not only good for the environment, but also easy on your wallet.
City Councilman Paul Wolff says they love the island, so why not take care of it.
“We have made a lot of progress over the last few years, and as islanders, we are painfully aware of the fact that sea levels are rising, that resources are being spent needlessly, and we need to do everything we can to conserve resources, and be good stewards of the planet.”
