On Sunday, volunteer members of the Chatham County Disaster Action Team responded to an apartment fire located at 1800 38th St., apt#35R. The fire displaced 2 adults and 2 children. The Red Cross provided emergency lodging, comfort kits and financial assistance for food, clothing.

SAVANNAH --

Savannah Fire Fighters work quickly to contain a house fire Monday morning.

It happened around two in the 1400 block of East 32nd Street. Witnesses say everyone made it out of the house.

The Savannah chapter of the American Red Cross says the fire displaced two adults and two children. The Red Cross is assisting them with food and clothing.

No word yet on what may have caused the fire.
