Pooler Police are still investigating a deadly shooting at a warehouse.
Authorities were called to the OA Logistics warehouse located off of Dean Forest Road late Friday afternoon.
Pooler Police Chief Mark Revenew said the suspect, Christopher Lema, is being charged with homicide, sexual assault and simple battery.
Lema and the victim, 28 year old Nickifor Zephryrine, were both employees at the warehouse.
According to the Chief, it all started when Lema was assaulting a female employee, and Zephyrine tried to stop the assault.
Chief Revenue said it is too early to officially determine the motive.
OA Logistics issued the following statement Friday evening.
"We are deeply saddened over the events that occurred today in our Savannah, Georgia, facility. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our associate's family. We will take every measure possible to ensure our associates can work in a safe environment. Monday morning, we will have counselors on site to meet with our associates one-on-one, and we'll make every effort to help everyone cope with this tragic situation."
