One local business is doing their part to help a family affected by tragedy.

Wendi and Russell Davis and their daughters, 17-year old Haley and 19-year old Susannah, all died when their Brooklet home caught fire December 28.

Russell Davis was an assistant manager at the Dairy Queen in Rincon.

Hundreds of people flocked there for a fundraiser Thursday night, with the restaurant donating 100 percent of their sales to the Davis Family Memorial Fund.

Scott Ballard, general manager, said the outpouring of support has been incredible.

"Russell was just a huge part of this community, huge part of our family... You see the amount of people...Iit just shows you how much he's touched them and been a huge part of their lives as well," said Ballard.

No word yet on the total amount raised, but management said they raised more than $2,200 in just the first hour.
