A Bluffton fire is under investigation tonight.
Firefighters urge everyone, if they see smoke or flames to call 9-1-1 so the fire department can be dispacthed as soon as possible.
Around 7:30am Sunday morning, the Bluffton Township Fire Department received a call about a fire at the Mill Creek amenities center. Three companies responded to the fire, which authorities say was contained mostly in the attic. No one was hurt, and firefighters today are thanking neighbors for alerting them to the situation.
"A passerby, I don't know if they were using the rec center or just out enjoying the morning, but they say smoke and flames coming from the chimney area and called 9-1-1," said Captain Randy Hunter.
