Imagine you're a teenager and suddenly you're given an infant, a toddler, other teens and elderly folks to take care of all over a span of a few weeks.
That's the premise behind NBC's newest reality show, "The Baby Borrowers," which debuts on June 25th.
So what do you get when you take 5 teenage couples put them in their own homes in middle America and give them the lesson of a lifetime??
You get NBC's newest reality show: Baby Borrowers.
Executive Producer Tom Shelly said, "It's a crash course in parenthood and life in fast forward for adulthood."
The teens start out taking care of infants and their charge just keep getting older.
Longtime couple Alicea Davis and Cory Davila of Houston, Texas thought they were ready to marry and have kids, until they did the show.
Their advice to other young people watch the show?
The two said, "Practice safe sex! wait until. Condoms and birth control double it up."
How the teens handle each situation ranges from impressive to just plain childish.
But it's all part of being a baby borrower.
Shelly said, "There's always surprises in these shows and the fun of it is not being able to predict what's going to happen."
All the people featured on the show were volunteers.
They didn't get paid.
"Baby Borrowers" airs on Wednesday nights this summer.
