Here’s a taste of Entertainment Weekly’s “The Must List”.
Didn’t make the cut for the U.S. Open? No problem. You can still take on the king of the golf course with “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10”. The videogame features real time weather conditions, a new precision putter, and the ability to take on either greats of the game, or other online competitors. “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10” scores a virtual hole in one.
It was 20 years ago when Spike Lee’s movie about a day in the life of a Brooklyn neighborhood, “Do the Right Thing”, hit theaters, and now a new 20th Anniversary DVD is on the way. Featuring 11 lost scenes, director’s commentary and a retrospective documentary, “Do the Right Thing” just got even more worth doing.
Speaking of anniversaries, looking for a way to celebrate the first moon landing 40 years ago? Look no further than Miroslav Sasek’s classic kids book, “This is the Way To the Moon”, first issued in 1963, 6 years before we actually made it there. The book has been reissued with a mini-history of NASA and will delight readers of all ages.
