Jasper County Man Arrested On Drug Charges

Joseph Lamar Medlock of Jasper County was taken into custody early Monday morning after a search warrant was served on his home by members of the Beaufort/Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force.  The search warrant was the result of an investigation into reports of Medlock selling illegal drugs from his Mitchellville Road home in Ridgeland.  Investigators believe Medlock was storing and distributing drugs from his home.  At approximately 5:30 am. on June 22 DTF members, accompanied by members of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed the search warrant.  Investigators seized powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, various drug paraphernalia, and US currency from the home and arrested Medlock.
