Metro Police Looking for Clues in Separate Robbery Cases
SAVANNH, Ga.—Police are searching for suspects in two separate robbery investigations.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said the first robbery happened October 14. Investigators say two men robbed the Cricket Store in the 4500 block of Montgomery Street. Police said one of the men had a gun and threatened the clerk.
The men got away with an undisclosed amount of money, a cell phone, and the clerk’s driver’s license.
Police are looking for two black males in their 20’s. One is described as clean-shaven and tall, with a thin build. The only description of the second man is he has facial hair. Detectives were able to obtain surveillance video of the two in another store.
Detectives are also investigating a robbery that happened October 10 in the 1100 block of E. Victory Drive.
Police say a man walked into the convenience store and gave the clerk a note demanding money. The man reportedly kept reaching around like he had a weapon. The clerk gave him money and the suspect fled in the direction of Daffin Park.
Investigators are looking for a black man in his early 20’s, 6 feet tall, 150 lbs. He’s also described as fair-skinned with shoulder length dreads or braids and was wearing a black ball cap and black t-shirt.
