Police Still Seek Person of Interest in Fatal Hit-and-Run

SAVANNAH, GA (January 15, 2009): Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are still trying to identify and locate the man in this video about the hit-and-run that happened on Sunday, January 11, 2009 on Ogeechee Road that resulted in the death of 54-year-old Robert David Williamson.

The man was captured on video just after 7:00 p.m. at the Auto Zone on Ogeechee Road, in close proximity to the crash, making a purchase. The man is described as a white male, medium height and build, with brown hair.  He may have tattoos on his forearms.

Police have narrowed their search to a mid-90’s model, dark green GMC truck.
