More help arrives for victims of this month's dangerous tornados in Emanuel and McIntosh Counties. New disaster recovery centers are open as of Friday, May 30, 2008.  10 Georgia counties were part of a disaster order this month. That means there's help for those with uninsured tornado losses.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) have opened a disaster recovery center in Darien.

It's located at the Coastal Worship Center at 14760 Georgia Highway. They will be open from Monday through Saturday until further notice.

FEMA recommends you register for assistance before you go.
To do that, call 1-800-621-FEMA.
