“SAVING A RIVER” WINS AGAIN

SAVANNAH, GA - “Saving A River” Honorable Mention Award from the Blue Ocean Film Festival

The “Saving A River” documentary team Marc Casey, Dave Tapper, Matt Gyordano, & Lawrence Duane won an Honorable Mention Award from the Blue Ocean Film Festival.

BLUE Ocean Film Festival is a global film festival and conservation summit for underwater filmmakers and marine researchers. A simultaneous community festival will share the best of the film competition with the public, and will include presentations from the filmmakers and scientists who created them. Following the festival a selection of winning films will tour the world, providing those who may not otherwise have access to these great films, a chance to learn more about our oceans.

The festival will be held in Savannah Georgia June 10-14.

The Blue Ocean Film Festival will mark the third festival the documentary has been accepted into and in which it will be screened. Since the film competed against colleges and universities all over the world this makes the most prestigious award “SAVING A RIVER”  has won so far!

A list of all the festival winners is provide at: http://www.blueoceanfilmfestival.org/images/2009_BLUE_Finalists_List.pdf
