Third ID Soldiers Injured During Training

Three 3rd ID soldiers were injured today while training at Fort Stewart.

The soldiers were driving an armored track recovery vehicle along a tank trail when it caught on fire.

Two of the soldiers were treated and released. The third soldier was transported to Augusta Burn Center with second degree burns, which are said to be non-life-threatening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
