The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a FROST ADVISORY for the following counties:  Effingham, Tattnall, Evans, inland Jasper, Jenkins, Screven, Candler, Bulloch, Allendale, Hampton and inland Colleton.

The FROST ADVISORY is in effect from 3a.m. to 8a.m.

A strong high pressure system will settle over the region tonight, resulting in unseasonably cool temperatures.  Clear skies and nearly calm winds will allow temperatures to fall into the mid to upper 30s prior to daybreak Saturday across portions of southern South Carolina and southeast Georgia.  These conditions will be favorable for the formation of scattered frost, especially in low lying and sheltered locations.

Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
