The Biggest Event to Hit Home Entertainment Is Pulling Into Savannah

This weekend Lane Home Furnishings Home Entertainment Tour will be making a stop in Savannah at the Lane Home Furnishings Store at 7505 Abercorn Street! This is the second stop of a national tour taking place throughout 2009. For the Savannah area media it’s a great local hook to all those “staycation” stories you’ve been doing!

Why a Home Entertainment Road Show? Research shows more people are staying home, postponing trips and focusing on home entertainment. So, Lane Home Furnishings is taking to the streets, bringing the consumer the most innovative furniture solutions around. This is a unique, first-of-its-kind home entertainment “road show” designed as an inescapably rewarding and interactive brand experience never before seen in the furniture industry.

The trailer of this 18-wheeler transforms out to a massive 1,000 square foot custom-built mobile showroom featuring three complete home entertainment room solutions based on interior designs that cater to the desires of men, women and families.

The visitor interacts with the experience via a hand-held computer that asks questions and allows them to enter their product and lifestyle preferences. At the end of the tour, they’ll receive a printout detailing a selection of home entertainment solutions that meet their individual needs. Should we add a sentence about being able to purchase the products from their home entertainment solution right there at the store?

The Lane Home Entertainment Tour is open to the public Friday and Saturday November 14 & 15 from 11AM-5PM and Sunday November 16, from 1-5PM.
