NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton Hosts 4X4 Truck Competition September 26th

Claxton, GA September 8, 2009—Demere NeSmith, General Manager of NeSmith Chevrolet Buick Pontiac GMC in Claxton announced today that the dealership will be hosting a 4X4 Truck Rally on September 26th from 10am until 4pm in celebration of their 35th year in business.  Truck owners will compete for over $1000 in cash and prizes.  The event also features family activities including a Monster Truck demonstration, the GM Power Shop, a drag racing simulator, and more. That day, NeSmith is also debuting “BT Customs”, a new division of the company specializing in truck suspension lifts, accessories, custom wheels and more. There is no fee to enter the contest or attend the day’s events.

The September 26th event begins with registration for the 4X4 Truck Rally from 10am-12noon.  Judging begins at noon. Winners will be announced at 3pm.  Participants may pre-register for the truck contest by visiting http://www.NeSmithNow.com or by signing up the day of the event. 

Trophies and cash will be presented in the following truck categories: The Biggest Overall, Most Original, and the top three Best Looking 4X4 Vehicles.  Hotdogs and sodas will be served from 12am until 2pm.  The fun-filled day includes car crushing by “Storm Damage” the Monster Truck, the GM Performance Shop including the loudest crate engine in existence and a drag racing simulator, children’s activities and more.  The local McDonald’s will be onsite with tea and iced coffee and will be raising money for the Ronald McDonald House charity.  Ronald McDonald will also be on hand taking pictures with children from 2pm-4pm.  NeSmith and BT Customs will offer special discounts on all 4X4’s in stock, as well as parts and accessories. 

This event will be the official launch of BT Customs, a new division specializing in accessories and customizing.  BT Customs offers everything from spray-in bed liners and headrest DVDs to leather seating and performance upgrades, and much more.
