Hundreds of drummers recently came together in Birmingham, England to set a new world record, and it wasn’t for the number of most annoyed neighbors.

The 582 drummers broke the world record for the largest number playing the same beat at the same time.

Many of the drummers were celebrity musicians, and all were drumming to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis.

The charity is called “Stick it to Me.“

“Drummers we’re a kindred spirit because guitarist have all the limelight. Vocalists don’t have to carry any gear.  We’re the ones,“ said participating stick-man Ian Danter.

The drummers smashed the previous world record of 533 drummers set in the United States.
