Annual County-Wide Youth Invitational Track & Field Meet

The Savannah-Chatham Silver Cheetahs invites the community at large to participate in the Annual County-Wide Youth Invitational Track & Field Meet
In support of the Mayor’s Initiative: Healthy Savannah 2012, the Silver Cheetah Track & Field Club is committed to healthy, active lifestyles and the fight against childhood obesity
Date:  Saturday, July 11, 2009
Location: Savannah State University Stadium
Time: 8:00 – 3:00 pm
Participants: Children ages 4 to 17 may compete in the Meet
Adults may sign up for the Parent/Coach 4x100 M Relay
Entry: $2.00 per athlete (Ages 11 & under compete in 3 events, 12 & up compete in 4 events)
Entry Deadline: Thursday 7-9-09

*Please Note: It is imperative for all participants to drink enough water to remain hydrated in the heat. To be comfortable, we recommend athletes bring folding chairs, water coolers filled with ice and water, umbrellas or tents for shade and healthy snacks such as fruit and granola bars to eat throughout the day.
