To make a positive impact on your health, include at least 30 to 60 minutes of moderate activity on most days of the week. You’ll burn about 1,000 calories (depending on your weight) in the course of the week. If that goal isn’t realistic for you, don’t be discouraged and don’t quit! Do what you can and increase your level of exercise little by little over time. You’ll reduce your risk for many chronic diseases and you’ll extend your life.
