Grab a copy from your local library or bookseller and head to the beach or your own backyard to settle in with this captivating story. We’re reading it all month long, so tune in to catch the discussion!

My Lowcountry 3 is a brand new newscast focused exclusively on South Carolina communities, issues, and interests. The first of its kind, My Lowcountry 3 is live and interactive and gives South Carolina Lowcountry viewers a voice by incorporating social media into every broadcast. The program is produced and anchored by WSAV Lowcountry journalist Holly Bounds. My Lowcountry 3, or MyLC3 airs weekdays at 7pm on WSAV’s digital channel MyTV.

Holly Bounds comes to WSAV NEWS 3 as the Lowcountry Reporter and Host of My Lowcountry 3 with plenty of experience under her belt. She worked for South Carolina Educational Television's regional station WJWJ-TV in Beaufort. During her time there, Holly received first place honors for Political Reporting from the Radio Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas for a 30 minute special report on the political life of the late Gov. Carroll Campbell. Holly also spent two weeks on the Gulf Coast showcasing the many ways South Carolinians helped in the Katrina relief effort.
