Veteran’s Week Golf Event at The Hampton Hall Golf Club

Bluffton, SC; October 9,2009 - The Hampton Hall Golf Club, and other local South Carolina courses are teaming up for the third annual Military Veterans Golf Week, November 9-13, 2009.

Active duty, retired military personnel, and disabled veterans are cordially invited for a complimentary round of golf on the Pete Dye Signature Course at Hampton Hall Club.  Other select area courses, are also participating in this noble event.  Through the generous contributions of many area donors; food, beverages, and prizes will also be provided.

Last year over 200 military personnel participated in this wonderful event. They came from Beaufort Marine Air Station, Parris Island, Fort Stewart, and various local communities. This year we are hoping for an even greater turnout that will include all branches of the military.

Hampton Hall Club’s general manager, Mary Claire Gaze stated, “The Hampton Hall Community and golf club are proud to repay, in some small way, the members of the U.S. Military for all they have done for us.” Jack MacNeil, Captain of the Hampton Hall Men’s Golf Society also noted, “I hope the 2009 event and those who participate will continue the tradition of honoring our men and women in uniforms.”
