Cocaine Bust in Savannah
On July 1st, 2009, CNT concluded an investigation concerning a business located at 310 East Montgomery Cross Roads (Grillz by Mo) that was being utilized to distribute cocaine. Several controlled purchases were made from the business over a span of several months that involved both the owner of the business and his brother. The owner was identified as Morris WEST AKA “Mo”, and his brother was identified as Michael WEST. CNT agents along with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit executed a search warrant at the business and another one at a nearby residence that was connected with the operation.

-packaging materials/miscellaneous paperwork
NOTE: each of the approximately 40 bags of cocaine weighed approximately 3 grams each and would typically be sold for $150. This would make the cocaine worth approximately $6,000.
