Garden City Shooting Sends One Man to the Hospital

GARDEN CITY, Ga. - Police are investigating a shooting that left an 18 year-old man with a gunshot wound to the foot.

Garden City Police Chief David Lyons said Travis Godwin told them he was shot while riding his bike at the intersection of Oglesby Avenue and Cooper Lane around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Witnesses reportedly told police they heard multiple gunshots. Police are investigating.
