Savannah Metro Police are investigating a death discovered about 10:30 a.m. Saturday.  They’re asking for anyone with information to come forward

A field of flags is displayed at the National Guard Armory in Savannah.  It’s not about a patriotic event though.  Each flag represents an abused child report taken in Chatham County during the past year.  Organizers say unfortunatley, there are way too many flags and they hope to draw awareneness to the problem.

Thousands of pounds of paper have been shredded and people have safely disposed of personal documents to help them avoid identity theft.  Goodwill Industries also collected many computers and safely erased the hard drives to destroy information contained on them. 

Orlando police have named the man who died from shots fired by a gunman at an engineering firm.

The military says the suspected gunman who allegedly carried out the mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, fired more than 100 rounds.

A local military chaplain comments about the tragedy at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead. The suspect is a major in the military.
