Bond for a Montgomery County guidance counselor, accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student, has been revoked.

Carrie O'Connor worked in the small town of Mount Vernon, about eleven miles from Vidalia. Her mother was the school system's superintendent. She resigned shortly after police arrested O'Connor in July of last year.

O'Connor pleaded not guilty in June on charges of sexual assault against a student.

Wednesday, a judge revoked O'Connor's bond after she contacted the teenager she's accused of having a relationship with.

O'Connor is currently being held at the Irwin County Detention Center.
