A Savannah man accused of shooting and killing his wife of 40 years was in a Chatham County courtroom on Wednesday.  Robert Johnson stood quietly while a Metro Police detective detailed evidence against him - including a confession allegedly made to police when they took him into custody Halloween morning shortly after the shooting.  Police say Johnson told them his wife had pushed him too far and he couldn’t take it anymore.  Mary Ellen Johnson died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.  The case has been sent to the grand jury.

please do not spare this man, of all the no good people that you see walking around coffee bluff, this bag of garbage chooses to shoot his wife, a woman who was about doing somthing good in this world, i recommend the death penalty, the good old fashioned way, by the electric chair, may he fry long and hot….my prayers go out to the many women in savannah that are dealing with no good dangerous men on a daily basis!
