Chemical Spill Reported at Georgia Ports Authority

Emergency officials have been called to the scene of an unknown chemical spill at the Georgia Ports Authority.

Garden City, Port Wentworth, Savannah Fire departments, as well as Savannah Fire’s Hazmat team, have responded to the scene.  The call came in around 9:15 p.m.

Savannah Fire Department says they have tentatively identified the chemical but do not have it confirmed.

No injuries have been reported and no other information has been reported at this time.
