Girl Gives Her Hair For Special Honor
(Savannah) Dr. Melanie Helmken has delivered about 2,500 babies during her career. One of those babies is 9-year-old Addison Scarbrough.
In honor of her doctor, Addison decided to sacrifice her hair to help others. “Because I want to show people God’s love,“ says Addison.
“Oh it’s unbelievable that a beautiful little girl would give up those wonderful blonde curls and locks of hair. It’s incredible. She’s just so sweet,” says Dr. Helmken. Addison’s hair is being donated to Pantene beautiful lengths for adults battling cancer.
