In the state of Georgia after market window tint can be no darker than 29% and it cannot come down more than six inches on the front windshield.
Violation of the law by either driving a vehicle with illegal window tint or installing it is a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine up to $1,000 and/or up to 12 months in prison.
