Savannah Pet Adoption Drive

Others decided to spend the holiday doing some good.
Habersham Village hosted a pet adoption drive today. Tons of cute puppies and kittens were out looking for home.
Coastal Pet Rescue, Save-A -Life and the Humane Society were all there.
If you already owned a pet however there was micro chipping, dog baths and much more.
“Well for Coastal Pet Rescue we are a foster home organization and that means the animals live with us in our homes. There is not a physical shelter they can come to and see pets whenever they want to. So we rely on adoption days like this to promote the pets for adoption. It gives people a chance to interact with them up close and personal and bring their personal pets to see how they interact and hopefully fall in love,” explains Lisa Scarbrough, the President of Coastal Pet Rescue.
