A Savannah-Chatham high school is receiving a huge honor.  Johnson High School was named as one of the top public high schools in the nation by Newsweek magazine.

Johnson ranks 819 out of 1,500 schools in the nation.  Johnson High is one of 50 high schools in the peach state to receive the honor.

The schools are ranked based on the number of students who take advanced placement, international baccalaureate and or Cambridge tests taken by all of the students and is then divided by the number of graduating seniors.
