Two additional arrests have been made concerning the fatal shooting which happened at the B&B Disco in Scotia around 1 a.m. Monday morning. Isaiah Sanders, 20, of Estill died during the shooting.

Cedric Lamont Adkins, 26, of 1483 Columbia Highway, Estill, was charged Thursday with murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill.

Vershad Markise Isham, 20, of 33 Annie Avenue, Estill, was charged with murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill.

Both Adkins and Isham appeared this morning before Judge Carolyn Williams on the possession of a weapon during a violent crime charge and the two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill. The two were arraigned on the murder charge each faces. Damascus Joyce, 19, of 1495 Columbia Highway, Estill, who had previously been arraigned by Williams on a murder charge, appeared before the judge for a bond hearing on additional charges, including two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

During their bond hearings, Adkins, Isham and Joyce received a $15,000 bond on their charges which included two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The investigation continues into the cause of the incident. Authorities are still seeking information concerning the shooting.
