Fort Stewart Holds First Food Show

Fort Stewart held their first ever food show today.
Army cooks along with Culinary Art Students from the Youth Challenge Academy and civilian food vendors had tons of tasty treats today.
The purpose of the event was to recognize the students’ hard work and allow soldiers and their families a chance to taste some of the different foods served through army facilities.
In addition to stuffing yourself it was also a chance for culinary students to learn.
“Its a great thing because to me its bringing the younger generation and the older in the food service together so we can all know and understand one another and what is out there,” explains Linda Purnell one of the days participants. 
Fort Stewart is hoping to make this an annual event.
