Hunter Army Airfield Change of Command

Big changes at Hunter Army Airfield.
Today the current Garrison Commander Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Whitney handed over command to Lieutenant Colonel Jose Aguilar.
Since 2007 Whitney has commanded Hunter, which is home to seven thousand service members all from a variety of military branches.
Whitney’s next assignment will be at the Pentagon where he will work in the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army Installation Management. 
Aguilar comes to Hunter from Portland, Oregon where he served as Executive Officer, Portland District, Army Corps of Engineers.
