Federal investigators are ready to release their report on the deadly Feb. 7 explosion at the Imperial Sugar refinery near Savannah.
Ed Foulke Jr., head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, is scheduled to announce the findings of his agency's investigation at noon on Friday at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah.
OSHA spokeswoman Sharon Worthy confirms the timetable for releasing the report, but she would not say whether OSHA will issue citations or propose fines against Texas-based Imperial Sugar.
The explosion killed 13 refinery workers and injured dozens more. An initial investigation concluded sugar dust accumulating in the plant ignited and exploded like gunpowder.

NEWS 3 will have a crew at that news conference. Look for an update on Friday at 6 and 11 p.m.
