Breast Cancer Tree Lit at Candler’s Telfair Pavilion

It's a bright and shining symbol of hope and love, and an early beginning to the holiday season.

It's a ceremony Thursday afternoon at Candler Hospital's Telfair Pavilion to light the breast cancer tree, a live cedar donated by Dr. Phillip Wirth and his family.

The tree honors lives lost, celebrates survivors, and promotes breast cancer awareness.

You can add a dedication to the tree for five dollars. Money raised will support breast cancer education classes in our community.
