(Savannah) Soldiers with the 260th Quartermaster Battalion stand at the ready today.  They are opening doors for women as they arrive at The Telfair Pavilion for their mammogram screening.  Today is A Day For Mammograms…part of Paint The Town Pink Events.  Once the screening is complete each woman is given a pink and yellow carnation.  Pink for breast cancer awareness and yellow for supporting our troops.  “That’s important to us because one of our own was recently diagnosed, and we’d like to be involved in the community.  The community supports us and we support our community,” says Sgt. Brandon Burdon.
The 260th Quartermaster Battalion has been in the fight with First Sgt. Andrea Graham who was diagnosed with breast cancer in August.
