It was about this time last year when it officially moved into the courtroom ... roughly forty victims and surviving family members of the deceased are suing Imperial Sugar.

A year ago today Imperial Sugar C.E.O. John Sheptor was in the midst of a tragedy.
Eight of his employees were missing and many more were injured after an explosion rocked one of his company’s Port Wentworth Plant.

Dubbed Legacy Park it has a monument in honor of each of the 14 victims.
